About Us

Solidaristic and progressive, the University of Yangon Students’ Union – UYSU has been formed to protect the rights of the students, provide a space for critical education for both learners and educators, and perpetuate a radical political culture among the peoples of Myanmar/Burma as a whole.

We are the voice of conscience in the era of injustice. We are the protectors of the marginalized. We are the Union of spirits in good Faith.
